Bacon wrapped scallops are a great appetizer for any party or date night. This is a simple bacon wrapped scallop recipe with a sweet glaze over the top for a truly savory and sweet treat all in one. Ingredients

  • 6 large scallops

  • About 3 pieces of bacon cut in half

  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce

  • Toothpicks

  • Garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

  3. Dry scallops with a paper towel. Set aside.

  4. Cut bacon pieces in half. Wrap bacon around each scallop, use a toothpick to secure.

  5. In a bowl, combine syrup, soy sauce, and seasonings. Spoon a little sauce over each scallop.

  6. Bake wrapped scallops about 15-20 minutes until scallops are opaque and firm and bacon is cooked. Spoon more sauce over scallops halfway through cooking.

  7. Serve right away.
