Ingredients
6 large scallops
About 3 pieces of bacon cut in half
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Toothpicks
Garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Dry scallops with a paper towel. Set aside.
Cut bacon pieces in half. Wrap bacon around each scallop, use a toothpick to secure.
In a bowl, combine syrup, soy sauce, and seasonings. Spoon a little sauce over each scallop.
Bake wrapped scallops about 15-20 minutes until scallops are opaque and firm and bacon is cooked. Spoon more sauce over scallops halfway through cooking.
Serve right away.
